Sometimes it pays to
leave technology behind
Humans are, thankfully, a social species. However big Twitter or Facebook may grow, they'll never replace face-to-face chat.
The same is true in marketing, and although the power of the trade show is declining, the occasional event is still a necessity if you really want to establish your product or brand.
Just as well, then, that we retain the presentational (and organisational) skills to transform the average event into an awesome experience.
